VOLUNTEER RESEARCH INTERSHIPS

Volunteer Intern Research PhotoThese internships are an opportunity for high school students from across the Rogue Valley to help in macroinvertebrate collections at sites throughout Bear Creek and its tributaries to give an overall picture of the health of our watershed.

Fall and spring collections occur every year and you can participate. This opportunity has worked for students to fulfill senior projects and community service requirements. Not only does it fulfill requirements, it also is a great opportunity to get out in the field and see what it's like to be a field biologist.

This is a great opportunity to be a part of an important project that will influence conservation management decisions and educate local citizens on the health of their watershed.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out an application (don't forget a permission slip if you are under 18).
