Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways you can get involved - on land, in the water, and in the office - to help in our work.  If you would like to lend a hand, send an email to info@nccsp.org (or, if interested specifically in the Oregon Big Tree Program or the Macroinvertebrate Project, fill out and mail your project application form to us at 84 Fourth Street, Ashland, OR 97520).  We'd love to hear from you!

  • Oregon Big Tree Program - help us verify new nominations to the Oregon Registry of Big Trees, re-certify existing champions, or build our Big Tree photo library
  • Macroinvertebrate Project - help our staff biologist collect and analyze macroinvertebrates from 30 sites in the Bear Creek Watershed
  • Action Alerts - sign up to join our action alert response team and receive information that will help you speak out on critical land and water conservation issues
  • Newsletters & Mailings - help get our quarterly newsletter and other mailings ready to deliver
  • Gardening & Building Maintenance - help maintain the building and landscape at the National Center office in Ashland, Oregon
